I love YouTube. In fact, before making this blog I considered using YouTube as my platform instead, but didn't for a number of reasons. Who knows, maybe that's something for the future. But today I want to talk about some of the channels that inspired me to think about doing that and in fact to create this blog; specifically ones that focus on film, since it's a visual medium which lends itself to being talked about through video. This isn't meant to be an exhaustive list, I'm sure there are plenty I haven't discovered, but these are some of my favourites. The titles are links, so check them out! 1) Lessons from the Screenplay
2) Hazel Hayes (Chewing Sand)
3) Jack Howard
4) Cinema Wins
5) Nerdwriter
6) Now You See It
7) Pop Culture Detective
I hope I've introduced you to something new you can be entertained by or learn from, whether you're an aspiring filmmaker, a happily uninvolved film nerd or in the industry already. Again, I've missed a few out, but I'd love to discover some more if you know of any.
